Firstly you will need to clean your house. The house should be spick and span to receive guests who will be impressed by your clean house. The Place you are going to seat your guests, your living room should be cleaned and nothing should be in the way of guests which will fall and embarrass the guests. You can decorate the living room with fresh flowers and lights or hanging decors. These all things you would want to do it just a day or two before the party is due to keep all the decorations in place and if they are done in advance there are chances that they are falling apart once you are ready for the party. The other room which the guests will be using also needs to be cleaned they are dining room, bathroom etc.
Clean up your backyard and front yard. Remove all the garbage well in advance and keep the front yard free from all the clutter. The bathrooms need to be kept spick and span as the guests will be frequented it the most. There should be enough bathroom tissues for all to use. Keep the supplies ready and in a place where everyone can see and remove when one is over.
Even though you have invited your guests for snack and drink you will need to seat all the guests. So make sure you have enough chairs or the sofas for all. If you do not have enough hire some. If you have planned a proper thanksgiving dinner then you will need enough tables and chairs to seat all your guests.
If it is not very cold your party can be stretched to the backyard or front yard and make arrangements for this and clean the snow or ice which is accumulated at your doorstep. Clean the back yard by clearing all the garbage a day in advance. The guests arriving will want to park their cars make enough space in your driveway and clear all the unnecessary items from there. You can have enough parking in your driveway for many cars.
By taking care of all these points you can well be on your way to have the perfect thanksgiving party ever.
